Dr. Erica, husband Mike, son Yosef and daughter Chaya live in Fairfax, VA. Dr. Erica is originally from the Upper West Side of Manhattan but moved to Northern Virginia shortly after graduate school (1998) in order to be near her family. Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Manhattanville College, a Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic and a Diplomate in Chiropractic Pediatrics from the International Chiropractors Association and Palmer University. Among her accomplishments are as editor of the classical chiropractic textbook Applied Chiropractic, published by Share International. She is also a past president of the Northern Virginia Chiropractic Society. Dr. Erica has practiced Total Body Modification for nearly ten years and is now an instructor for the technique. Currently, Dr. Erica is working on completing a series of courses leading to a License in Acupuncture. Dr. Erica has a thirst for continuing education and you will find that she constantly strives to gain new skills and understanding for the benefit of her patients. For fun, the Statman family enjoys quiet time together biking, reading, and singing.

Pediatrics: Dr. Statman is teaching chiropractors in 2013-2014 online courses for continuing education in the evaluation and management of newborns, infants, toddler and school-age children. These courses are under the auspices of www.pregnancychiropractic.com and renowned chiropractic pregnancy specialist Dr. Karen Gardner, co-creator of the Bagnell Technique.
