Hello, Dear Friends!
In case you couldn't tell by looking at me, things are a changin'! Yup, Mike, Yosef and I are expecting the arrival of a little lady in early December!
In fact, this fall is full of changes for us and for the office. As many of you already know, we will be opening at our brand-new location around the corner on Main Street in Kelly Square on Monday October 12 (Columbus Day). We are all looking forward to this beautiful new space which is lavishly appointed with sunny windows, private treatment rooms and an additional bathroom. If you haven't received our postcard with the particulars, please click here to let us
know.
A Fond Goodbye
Another change to our office is that we will be wishing a fond "see you again" to our wonderful assistant Anita
who will be moving to be with her husband Brendan in Alpine, Texas. Anita has grown to be a very beloved and valued member of our team, and we will miss her. Why not take a moment to send Anita a greeting and a farewell? I know she'd be glad to hear from
you.
A Fond Hello
But here's an amazing happy thing...and I promise that I am not making this up...Anita's identical twin sister Christine
will be joining our team. Christine has extensive experience in customer service and is in college majoring in psychology. She is also a big fan of chiropractic which is sure to make our transition a smooth one! Just get your thinking cap on and remember that after September 24th it will be Christine (and Jianell, of course!) and not Anita who you will see behind our front desk.
What Happens When You Go on Maternity Leave, Dr. Erica?
A good question with a happy answer! Little by little, starting in October, we will welcome my colleague Dr. Celeste Krawchuk to our staff. Like me, Dr. Celeste is one of only 160 Diplomates in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics in the world. Her career is an accomplished one including time at the prestigious Kentuckiana Children's Center. There she served as part of a multi-faceted team of professionals working with children and families dealing with special needs like autism, attention deficit disorder, chromosomal abnormalities among many others.
Dr. Celeste and I share a very strong philosophy of practice and, in fact, perform chiropractic adjustments very similarly, which I think you'll love! Dr. Celeste will soon be coming to the office to shadow me, to learn about you and our office systems. Please say hello and get to know this terrific doctor!
Please continue your care while I am away! Although we will be busy with our new little one, please know that I will be having regular meetings with Dr. Celeste to track your progress. So, keep up the good work in getting your spine regularly checked for subluxations! This is the secret to good health!
Wishing you the best of health,
Dr. Erica
